Zymergen is in the business of biofacturing. They “partner with nature to create the building blocks of tomorrow”.
Opinionated Agency approached the Elevated team to produce a brand film for Zymergen that would clearly tell their story, their mission and the ideals for which they stand for.
This was no small task, as we navigated incredibly complicated and technical scientific material coupled with a tight timeline. Thanks to our incredible creative team and amazing direction from Ryan Turner, we met and exceeded all expectations.
We blended a mixture of Zymergen Executive interviews, Laboratory B-roll, Custom Motion Graphics & a bit of high end stock footage to clearly illustrate through the Zymergen story. The story was split into chapters utilizing animated chapter titles that allowed the viewer to navigate the complicated Zymergen story with ease. The custom orchestral scoring was perfectly crafted by our composer Max Mueller and was a perfect match to the imagery throughout.
This film debuted on the day of Zymergen’s successful IPO and we are proud to be a part of this launch!
